Dr. Evelyn T. Huamán received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. While at Northwestern, Dr. Huamán was a Dean’s Scholar and was inducted to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars for outstanding scholarship and leadership. During her tenure at Northwestern, she also held the position of President for the Society of Women Engineers and received the Lucent Technologies Scholar Award, Merck Scholar Award, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Scholar Award, and the 3M Scholar Award for Excellence in Engineering.
She then completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the world-renowned Harvard School of Dental Medicine with special distinction in the fields of Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry. While at Harvard, she conducted investigative studies in collaboration with the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), publishing her results in prestigious scientific journals.

Dr. Jamie Mojica, DMD
General Dentist at our San Diego dental clinic
Dr. Jamie Mojica is an east coast native having grown up in New Jersey and spending the last decade in Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry also in Philadelphia. Dr. Mojica was among the top of her class, recipient of multiple Dean’s scholarships, and graduated with the distinction of Summa cum Laude. She is brought to San Diego by way of her General Practice Residency at the VA San Diego where she was elected Chief Resident. Dr. Mojica is a compassionate and competent general dentist whose hospital based experience has equipped her with the skills to treat both healthy and medically complex individuals. Her passion for dentistry and dedication to continued education are the hallmarks of her practice ideals. She strives everyday to deliver care patients can smile about.
Beyond her work in dentistry, Dr. Mojica enjoys living an active lifestyle. She loves San Diego for its year round favorable weather for being outside to play sports, hike, and of course, lazy days at the beach. But if exercise isn’t your thing, she can talk your ear off about her favorite foods and restaurants. She will try almost anything once, and any dessert twice.
